Adding Video to your Portrait Sessions
Day two is where we roll up our sleeves and put it all into practice. We’ll recap the foundations from Day 1, then get hands-on with the tools of the trade—especially gimbals. You’ll learn how to balance them, practice camera movement techniques, and build confidence capturing cinematic shots. From there, Garon will pull back the curtain on his editing process, showing how to take raw footage and craft it into polished, client-ready films. By the end, you’ll not only understand how to shoot compelling video—you’ll have the skills and workflow to deliver it as a profitable new service for your clients
Garon's Bio:
Garon has been in the commercial filmmaking industry since 2010 and began his portrait business in 2013. Over the next few years he used his cinematography background to pioneer a process for creating commercial quality films for portrait clients that could be produced efficiently and profitably. He's created a business that now serves both commercial and portrait clients with the same high level of production value, and has been teaching his process to other photographers since 2018.
